IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT “INTRODUCTION OF AN E-COMMERCE MODEL AT UAB TAURAKALNIS” BEGINS
On 23 February 2022, UAB Taurakalnis signed a project financing and administration agreement with the Lithuanian Business Support Agency for the project “Introduction of an E-Commerce Model at UAB Taurakalnis”, No. S-13.1.1-LVPA-K-860-01-1188.
Funding was granted under Priority 13 of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Programme for 2014–2020, “Fostering crisis repair in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and preparing for a green, digital and resilient recovery of the economy”, through the measure “E-Commerce Model COVID-19”.
The objective of the project is to increase the company’s revenue growth by introducing e-commerce models for the electronic management of its business transactions.
The following activity is planned as part of the project:
Implementation of customer self-service solutions on an e-commerce platform.
Upon completion of the project, an e-commerce system incorporating customer self-service solutions will have been developed. This will enable the company to recover more quickly from the restrictions imposed on the catering sector, continue operating successfully and effectively, and increase its revenue.
The introduction of the e-commerce model will allow customers—both individuals and legal entities—to independently order products made by the company, pay for them, select their preferred delivery time and use other available functions.
This will ensure high-quality and convenient customer service, improve the overall standard of service and help the company reach new customers, thereby increasing its sales and competitiveness.
The total amount of eligible project expenditure is EUR 45,470.00, of which EUR 34,102.50 is financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The remaining EUR 11,367.50 will be contributed by the project beneficiary.
The project activities are scheduled to be completed by 22 February 2023.
